In Orlando, the best-known bakeries and bagel shops have lines on weekend mornings, so arrive early or order ahead where the shop offers it. Across Florida, immigrant bakeries add Mexican pan dulce, Vietnamese banh mi bread, Chinese buns, Middle Eastern sweets and European rye to the mix, and many gluten-free and vegan bakeries have opened in larger cities. Orlando is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Orlando is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We are from out of town and seen the reviews and of course needed to try them out!. Cute little spot, great parking, bathrooms were clean and smelled great, the place was clean and cute. They had different flavors, they even count donut holes as a donut. Let me say the donuts are fresh and soft! And taste so yum!! 😋 Glaze was my favorite but toasted Coquito was amazing! 10/10. Thank you so much. We also got 6 donuts and it was $29.

I been wanting to try this place for a while and finally I got out of work early and decited to go as my bf mention he wanted donuts. I got there very close to closing and the donuts available looked good to me is git the guava and cheese. The coquito, brown butter and regular glaze i order a banana latte hot, ok all of this was 27.80$ plus I tip 2$ the latte was good the coffee flavor strong n delicious the banana flavor very mild. Now the donuts 🫠 let's start by saying why a donuts cost almost the same as a sandwich i feel like sometimes is crazy how we wanna support small business but somehow the prices at a coffee shop are the same as if I went out to have lunch! Now the donuts the brown sugar was the only one that felt like a donut the flavor was really good,, regular glaze ok the guava donut the guava they use is not it you can tell by the color of it and was to sweet then the coquito donut i was so exited about that donut just looks pretty there's not coconut near that donut . tasted nothing like coquito or coconut nothing!! that donut was flavorless the dough felt more like a sweet brioche bread super thick and bread like not so much like a donut. This coming from a smal

Stopped by The Salty Donut yesterday on our way home because we desperately needed a coffee boost. While searching places along the route, I recognized this spot and knew we had to stop. First off, the place itself is super cute and inviting. Every donut in the case looked incredible and made it hard to choose. I got the Brown Butter & Salt donut, while my husband and sister split the Butter Beer donut — both were SO good. Perfect texture, rich flavor, and definitely tasted fresh. I will say everything is a LITTLE pricey, but once we tried everything, it honestly felt worth it — especially as an occasional treat. Great atmosphere, great donuts. We’ll definitely be back!

The Salty Donut is housed in what used to be an auto shop, and the conversion is done really well. The decor and atmosphere feel intentional—industrial but warm—and it seems like a great spot to hang out with friends or even get some work done. It’s the kind of place you’d want to linger in if you had the time. I only dropped in briefly, but I ordered the brown butter and salt donut paired with a latte. The donut was exactly what you’d hope for—rich, balanced, and not overly sweet—but what really surprised me was the coffee. I honestly wasn’t expecting the latte to be that good. Maybe I’m just too used to Starbucks, but this was noticeably better: smooth, well-balanced, and thoughtfully made. The barista was also a highlight—sweet, informative, and happy to answer questions without feeling rushed. I was very tempted by the butterbeer donut, but I’ll save that for another visit. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. Solid atmosphere, excellent coffee (unexpectedly so), and quality donuts. Definitely a place I’ll be returning to.

Visited for the first time and had a bit of a mixed experience. The star of the show was definitely the Hashbrown Tots—truly the best I’ve ever had. Pairing them with the house-made secret sauce is a must. The Buffalo Chicken croissant was also solid, though it’s much better if you add that same secret sauce to it. On the sweet side, the donuts were a bit disappointing. They look beautiful, but the flavor didn't quite hit the mark for me. I tried the Toasted Coquito and the Brown Butter & Salt; both felt a little basic and dry. I really think they would be elevated to the next level with a custard or pudding filling. Overall, it's a nice spot worth trying. I’ll definitely be back for the tots, and I’m hoping to find a donut flavor that wows me next time!
